The Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga

The LAW of GIVING and RECEIVING

This fundamental modern law of yoga gives us an opportunity to understand that life is simply a repetitive series of giving and taking: we inhale and we exhale, the tide ebbs and flows, the wind blows and then is still.  Realizing that there is a rhythm to the natural world—and having a willingness to give into it—helps you to find abundance, happiness, and eventual success.

The LAW of KARMA

This law says that every action has a consequence, every choice has a result.  You may understand this, already, as “reaping what you sow.”

The LAW of LEAST EFFORT

This law suggests that the practice of yoga can help you to more openly love and appreciate even the greatest of hardships as a means to more consistently accomplish your biggest goals.

The LAW of INTENTION and DESIRE

This modern law of yoga, essentially, says that desire is important as it drives our intentions, which hopefully translates into action that ultimately leads to fulfillment.

The LAW of DETACHMENT

This law, basically, esteems that your destiny will unfold in its most perfect way and that you have no real control over it—so long as you are living with pure love and intention.

The LAW of DHARMA

This law states that every single person has a purpose in this world. More importantly, the Law of Dharma says that yoga can help you learn to love your individual skills and talents so you can ultimately fulfill your purpose in your time on this planet.
